REVIEWS: Spider-Man: Homecoming, Despicable Me 3, Baby Driver, and War for the Planet of the Apes

Spider-Man: Homecoming:
"By thoughtfully considering how a modern Spider-Man would fit into the character-driven realm of the MCU, Watts not only created a superhero movie full of charm and surprises, but also one the best MCU movies yet."

Despicable Me 3: "undeniably charming, although not especially ambitious in its storytelling, animation or emotional stakes. But sometimes you just want a summer movie that’ll make you laugh."

Baby Driver:  "Tapping less into emotions and more into adrenaline and wonder, it’s more style than substance, but oh, what style!"

War For The Planet of The Apes: Seamlessly blending human actors with CGI creatures and a wealth of visual effected violence, the film delivers awe-inspiring action. So why was I so bored?
